I have the same gun you are talking about. Mine is over 2years old and it is with the 1-12" twist, yours will more than likely be a 1-9" twist. I did a trigger job myself on that frame. It turned out well and it wasn't as hard as you might think. Once I figured out I had to pull the trigger back when I slipped it back into the action. The pull from the factory is not usually too bad. I just bought a 44 mag and the trigger pull was not very bad. I have it in to get a couple of barrels put on and asked to get a trigger job while it is in. I suspect they will not do any thing to it, because it was pretty good anyway. I sent mine in Nov 9th and still have not got it back. It has been 7 weeks, but the Holidays fall in there. I know they had every thing in stock I ordered before I sent it in. I ordered 5 Cinnamon laminated fore ends (so each barrel I have will have it's own), Cinnamon Laminated stock, two scope rails, 444 Marlin and 22 Hornet SL barrels. I hope to have it back in a couple of weeks, but who knows
I have found customer service to be good to work with. Follow the golden rule and treat them as you would like to be treated.
