Remington Classic 221 FB, Any Feedback Yet
« on: December 22, 2002, 07:52:34 AM »
Yes. Iv'e shot a 221FB in the Rem single shot bolt pistol when I was a young pup. My dad had one and we made many head shots on rabbits at around 200yds some a little over that. Boy did that thing ever have to be nested in well, wrists forarms and all. A big bean bag worked great. It was extreeemly accruate and he did or course handload for it. He sold the thing many years ago and I'm sure all the components went with it. If it would have been a 222 he might have kept it. He has a nice older Sako in 222 and I don't think he liked to load for both of them. Now thats a forum that would not get much traffic. Bolt Action Pistols.
