Bill, I truly feel sorry for your lack of faith in America. With all due respect, if you're going to try to torch someone you should at least get the spelling correct, it's Muslim (which Obama is not).

I'd like to suggest that you rent "Blazing Saddles" for your weekend entertainment...

I'll spell it as I wish it is my way of showing disrespect for the murderous cult. If you think he's not one you are just one more of the brainwashed and if he gets elected it will not take you long to understand clearly just what he is. How you could believe otherwise is a mystery to me.

I actually like the movie Blazing Saddles and have watched it several times.

And Dave if you think you're going to tell me how to think, act or spell on this site you are very very very very badly mistaken.

You're right Bill, it is YOUR site and YOU can always have the final word, right wrong or otherwise...
As Americans we need to respect the will of the people, no matter who gets elected and rightly so to protect whomever is elected.

Elections are no longer won they are bought, so I just can not see why I should respect or protect someone just because they had the deepest pockets behind them.

As to the religious alignment of Obama… matters not to me the way I see it one organized religion is about as bad as the other. Regardless of religious alignment if one is a true leader of the people for the people they will listen to all the people and not just their religious faction.

What people should be looking at is the one and only avenue that the people have to protect themselves which is the 2nd amendment. This is our protection of life and liberty from all enemies. Obama would love to see this avenue closed and walled up so as I see it anyone who is claims to be pro-gun as well as pro Obama is only fooling themselves.

"Bill, I truly feel sorry for your lack of faith in America."

Why would anyone have faith in America?

I have faith in Jesus Christ, and nothing else.  As much as I love this country, America will fail and soon IMO.

She has abandoned God.  He will abandon her.

Boss - I don't recall what has been predicted for 2012 but the closer this election gets the more I'm stockin' up on ammo.

I almost don't care if this election gets bought or won.  If it gets bought it is just a sign of the corruption that has spoiled this country.  If it gets won it is an indication of the stupidity brought on by the indulgences of the lazy.

Neither of the 3 are really worth a damn when it comes to the Constitution but I don't know who is worse, the muslim or the blonde.  Both would establish a communist tyranny in the US and use the military to maintain rule.  The other is just as bad with his actions to curtail the first amendment.

If obama wins this country will become lawless.  Cities will erupt in riots, fires and violent civil disorder.  Mayors and governors will call for the nat'l guard and federal troops and martial law will continue in force, if for no other reason than to clean the dead whites off the streets.  What happened in Afrika to white landowners will  happen here and they are either prepared to protect themselves or they are dead.  About the best we can do is hope to contain the racial factions within the cites and starve them out when their violence dooms the supply line.  This will be a prelude to race wars in this country.  If he is assassinated the race wars will simply start sooner.  What we need are containment policies that keep those in the cities in the cities or develop our own militias strong enough to keep them out of the rural areas.

And, of course, let's not forget that once the race wars have started this country will be opened right up to militant terrorist and foreign invasion.  We can certainly expect armed forces, whether uniformed or not from Mexico and the socialist south/latin American nations to try and carve a piece out of our southern and western states.  blacks will try and take the south
and the cities will fall into a rubble of disease and lawlessness. Do not ever expect to be able to own land if you are not black.

Nobody in their right mind thinks the commanding officers of the different military divisions are going to act by themselves do they - these idiots will sit on their butts until someone calls them up but if the president is assassinated nobody is going to make the call, except the survivor and all he will do is want the protection of an infantry division surrounding him.  The military will never be able to restore order in this country - they will only be able to maintain some 'green zones'.

If obama is elected the country is headed for a deep internal race war.  If the southerners still believe the civil war was a war of northern aggression, just wait until black America, under black muslim obama begins its vengeful progrom of rooting out all southerners who are property owners, rich, business owners, members of any confederate following or anybody who speaks with a southern accent.  If the fools in this country believe that sob won't burn this country to the ground just so 'we can start new' and blacks will have a fair chance at owning wealth - not sharing but owning - they are too stupid to breed and should be the first ones sacrificed.

There will be war in this country.  Not internal conflict which is what the gutless prefer to call it but, war. Cities will burn and the country will become, basically, fiefdoms,  re-structured states, provinces like they have in the middle east.

Well, it was a good run, almost 350 years.  At my age now I really don't relish the idea of burying myself in a snowbank waiting to ambush convoys of food gatherers and urban militants during the winter or shelling cities and burning them to the ground but.................

  Dave;
To say Osama (I can misspell also) IS NOT a Muslim is not necessarily correct ! I have opined that he MAY be a "sleeper"..but that is only an opinion !
Your saying flat out that he is NOT a Muslim, doesn't make it so !
All we can do is to look at the evidence..starting with his wanting to pull our troops and turn Iraq over to the Iranian nutcases and Al Queda..

Of course, Obama says he is not a Muslim..so you can take that to the bank..after all; politicians NEVER lie..do they ?

BTW: By what standards do you correct Bill's spelling ? The very term "Muslim" in the original, can only properly be spelled with those goofy, scrawling letters
THEY use..so all we can do is spell it phonetically (according to sound) .  Muzlim is as good as Muslim..some even spell it Moslem..

I'll never understand why, after the events of 9/11, any American..much less a hunter/gun owner would even THINK of voting for someone named...
Barak Hussein Obama to be our president.

It may just be one of God's little jests..to show us just how far we have fallen....and a WARNING from Him also...

When Nancy and others took over congress they said watch what we do in the first 100 days which has been nothing really . so it might be that when the new pres. takes over they won't control congress as long as the think . and they might not be able to do as much as some fear !

Some say the best combination is the congress occupied by one party and the presidency by the other . That way they can't do anything ! ;)

Dave, "Moslem" is the original spelling I learned about 50 years ago. "Muslim" is the PC butt kissing spelling pushed on the world about 10 or 15 years ago along with all the other rewrites in the Atlases.

Maybe I'll go with "Mohamedian", the term being used a few centuries ago, or "Moor".

Deep down inside I couldn't agree more.  I've worked in companies where I've experienced reverse discrimination.  The thought of the whole country heading that way is sickening and sad.   >:(   :'(

While I don't necessarily endorse our president "present or future" being ugh, assassinated. I am one whom would endorse public hanging of every politician that ever promised reform during his campaign, and proved to be a liar, and a thief. However, with our current crop of congressmen, and senators, we would do well in buying lots of rope. This indeed would send a message to the congress and senate, that enough is truly, enough. It is also about all that will change the current status quo. They imagine we are fools, and OUR OWN voting record might offer proof, that THEY are right!

<not directed to anyone in particular>

There are things that could be done, but so many people here (as well as everywhere else for that matter) waited like the sheep that they scoff at to jump into action.

I have said so many times that the eleventh hour was not the time to get the "Ron Paul revolution" started, let alone the crying that he won't be on the Republican ticket.

It makes so much sense in your own heads that you don't see why the rest of the people don't climb on board.

People are not like that, my friends.  People resist change.  People want to be led down an easy path.  Maybe not you in particular, but there are a lot of them out there.  More than you think.

Again, if the constitutionalist-libertarian stance is your thing than GET STARTED NOW FOR THE NEXT ELECTION.

If you think its to late, than stop complaining about Obama, Hillary, and McCain, and start stocking up on food, and other necessities.

If you think you can salvage something out of this election than vote.

And if voting your conscious in the light of futility is your thing, be my guest.  As far as I'm concerned, I know my conscious better than anyone, and my vote is just a tool.  Sometimes its an 8 point socket, and sometimes its vice grips.  It may not be the best for the job, but its the best I have right now.

Sorry, the flu has got me cranky.

It is hard to respect "the will of the people" when they have no clue why they are voting for someone. If you ask an Obama supporter to tell you one thing, just one accomplishment of Obama's, they cannot give you an answer, I have tried that & heard it tried with many. Why would we respect stupidity? Living with it is another matter.

I think it is going to get bad for us very soon. I don't see any signs for hope in this election. I haven't followed the candidates lately since I have no interest in the remaining field but I haven't heard much on their gun control stances. And with the recent spate of shootings we've had, you'd think they'd be spouting some form of new control. Unless of course the plan is to keep quiet about it until elected! I thought with all the campus shootings, someone would be screaming for new laws!  >:(

I found a disquieting blog post the other day, that Obama had to use a teleprompter for his rousing preacher style speeches (not a problem, really), but when he had to speak off the cuff, he rambled off into lefty loon rants, saying things he totally avoided in the prepared speeches.

Who is editing the speeches and keeping Obama's true beliefs out of view?

As I wrote in other posts here, an amicus, friend of the court brief was filed by 55 Senators in support of respondent Heller in the SCOTUS D.C. v Heller case.  Of the 55 Senators signatory to the brief, 9 were Democrat.  Sen McCain was one of the Senators that signed this brief, neither Obama or Clinton did and both had every opportunity to do so.   That is pretty evident of their firearms stand, adherence to Constitutional principles, and infidelity of oath of office, wouldn't you say?

Deltecs...you're right, their stand on firearms, etc is pretty evident to us. And I never did have any illusions of their "anti" stance. I just think their silence is deafening in light of recent events. These tragic events have a tendency to garner support from middle of the road people. What bothers me is what is going on behind the scenes with the "anti" politicians. And keeping with the political BS, they won't dare offend any potential voters by making a big issue out of any new gun restrictions they or their aides may be hatching. Which is exactly what we need to wake voters up.

All the amicus briefs filed in support of Heller are public documents.  Any new firearms restriction laws proposed, could have these briefs submitted in opposition to them.  Not only did 55 U.S. Senators support individual rights to firearms ownership, 250 House members did also.  31 individual States signed in support of the individual right.  This is strong evidence and support of the individual right to firearms ownership, possession, carry, and use that will have untold repurcussions in the anti's attempts to restrict firearms.  When SCOTUS (I'm making a presumtion and prediciton here) rules in favor of Heller and the individual right to firearms ownership, you can bet more court cases will ensue based on this ruling.  SCOTUS will, in its decision, place a savings clause that restricting firearms keep and bear laws, resemble some application to "reasonable" restrictions.  That just leads to another loop hole for the Anti's propaganda to further restrict arms.  That is why I think more court cases will result from this decision; it is to clarify these restrictions as to the reasonableness of the law in its application.
