Buffalo Classic Stock & Forend Part Numbers
« on: January 02, 2008, 03:02:00 PM »
I plan on buying some Buffalo Classic stocks to put on my .357 handi.
I emailed H&R for the part numbers and prices so here they are for any who are interested:

The stock is R03271 - $66.90

The forend is R03270 - $31.88

For those of you that already have these what are your opinions of these versus the regular stocks?
Is there much difference as far a drop at heel and drop at comb?

Thanks

Thank you!! There's been some discrepancies in the cost of the BC stocks, some said $122.50, others said $103 with shipping, I gave you the higher number, that way if it was less, you'd be happier!! ;D I added it to they retail info. ;)

Here's a sxs pic of the BC stock and a lam.

Simmons 8 pt shotgun scope, don't ask me how it works, I haven't shot the rifle with it yet, it always seems to get bumped from my range trips. ::)  I bought it cuz several others had real good luck with it and were very happy with them, for $30 shipped, it's not a bad little scope, with 5" of eye relief and very clear and bright for a 20mm scope, just as nice as my Weaver K2½, adjustments seem to work well as far as I could tell with the laser bore sighter, MSP has a couple of em. ;)

As near as I can tell by laying a straight edge along the forend of the guns in the photo, it would appear as though the BC stock does have quite a bit more drop. And it's a funny thing but that is the exact same scope I just bought for my .357, whenever I get it back. I had the same notion, to mount it low ahead of the hammer, it does have plenty of eye relief for that possession.
