he never looked up. My buddy was ready to leave by about 9 that morning. So i let me bow down and was getting ready to climb down. Then i heard something behind me and thought it was the big fox squirell i had been seeing all morning. And i guess that is what he was looking for also. He was about 40 yards with his head behind a tree. So i start easing my bow up. Well i guess he heard the leaves from the bow moving and came trotting in. About the time i got my bow up and ready he stopped with his head behind a tree at about 30 yards. So i hammered him. I hit him square in the shoulder which is the only shot i really had because of trees. He fell over like a ton of bricks. I thought he was done for. So i call my buddy and tell him " you aint gonna beleive this". and all the sudden i hear something and look down and he is about 15 yards away and tryin to pull the arrow out with his mouth. I tracked him into a thicket and shot him through the neck.. Heres a  picture of him mounted on top of my big screen..

And here are the euros from my two bucks.

What the heck kinda set up you using that won't blow thru a coyote? I had some failures to give a pass thru on deer back when I was using a 60 pound Bear White Tail bow but I went to 80 pound pull and never had another one stop in game since.

Looks like a pretty good year!  I think I can still see some milk on the lips of that doe in the second picture!   ;D ;D

Just funnin' with ya of course.  Any doe is a good kill, as far as I'm concerned.

I shot it with a 70 pounder. I just hit it a little forward and the arrow lodged in the shoulder socket. I always blow through deer. I just happened to hit bone solid, and didnt penetrate.

coyotes have a very tenacious life force, ive killed a bunch of them with all different kinds of weapons. have seen them flatter than a fritter only to get up and start sniffin around like they were lookin for supper.shot one during deer season one year and seen the same yote the next year{recognized by his distinctive markings, prob half dog}still limping but still alive.a full growed yote with a bow is definitely a true trophy and something to be proud of.
