Illinois hunting

i am wondering if there are any good places to hunt birds in Illinois I mean like pheasants, quail, and others along those lines. Any help would be appreciated thanks Terry.

I don't know where you are located at but your best bet in IL is some of the put and Take pheasant areas IDNR lands.  Their are some mixed pockets of birds but since has very little public hunting land they are on mostly private lands.  So you can get to know some farmers by going and asking.  West Central IL is good for Quail East Central has some Pheasants.  Good Luck I don't know that I really helped.

i would say i am west central i am close to mississippi river where IL river and Mississisppi river meet need to find some people around me that pheasant and quail hunt i guess thanks for the help.

There are 2 clubs up around morrison. you don't have to be a member to hunt but it is a good idea to call ahead of time and make sure they have openings. hilltop meadows and the morrison sportsmans club. The first is the better club. very nice people. also have sporting clays. The owners live there so there always there.
