Hello everyone,
Please excuse me if I don't call everything by it's correct name, but my 209x50 encore has recently had a mishap. I was my fault because I freely lent it to my bonehead cousin, but that's beside the point. I have a regular stainless encore and when I got my 209x50 barrel off ebay (about a year or so ago) I noticed that there was a loose part under the barrel where the ram rod is held into place. There are two cylinder type pieces that the rod goes through under the barrel to be held into position. I don't know what they're called but the front one was always loose and my cousin managed to finish it off even though he was warned about it and told to be carefull.
I'd really like to reattach it to where it belongs, but the threads are stripped and from what I've heard of JB Weld it might do the trick. I've never used it before so I'm just going off of what I've heard. Anyone have an idea of how I should go about this little fix? I don't care too much if it looks pretty, I just want it to be able to work.
