Need some help!
« on: January 10, 2008, 09:27:09 AM »
I am looking to purchase a barrel for my T/C Encore or  new Handirifle in .204 or .223 for varmint hunting. I now own a 12 gauge ultra slug which I am very satisfied with but have never owned an H & R centerfire rifle. I have a Burris 4.5 - 14 x 44 scope I would like to use. I guess I need some help on making this decision. I bought a new 20 gauge slug barrel for my Encore but could not get it to group so I sold it. Also which of the calibers would you recommend for foxes and coyotes. Thanks, Barry

The 223 would be cheaper to shoot if you dont reload. The cool thing about the 204 is theres so little recoil ,you stay in the scope & watch what your bullet does.
I dont care what gun Im using as long as Im hunting
