Contender Forearm help needed
« on: January 18, 2008, 04:15:31 AM »
I am new to Contender carbines and need a question answered. I have a t/c contender 21 inch 357 max barrel with one forearm mounting bolt.I ordered and received a forearm from Gunstock Inc. They sent me one with two holes and told me contender carbine barrels don't come with one stud and they don't make one like it. I know mine has only one. Do I have a older barrel are what ?

might be a custom barrel or even a third party...If it is a T/C barrel I would think you could contact them and they would add the second hole.

Found out the barrel is a older model that only came with the one mounting bolt.

I've picked up two older carbine forends, factory, which both have only one hole.  When I pick up some bushings for the screw holes I intend to drill a second hole in each, along with refinishing them.
