Holidays and Having a safe fun time...

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Yr....this will be the 7th yr I won't be in Missouri to watch the New Yr ring in ....but I will be in South Texas again , for a 10 day White-tail , hog, varmint, Rio Grande, Bobwhite and Blue ( scaled) quail hunt...I hope to have a few good pics to post upon my return.......my 16 yr old son, seems to think he has the juice, to find, and take a mature white-tail that will, as he says, put me to shame , this yr....time will tell.   Hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday season....and let's all remember to be safe out there..

 Bah! Humbug! Pony dog.  I'll be out in the damp woods taking down stands and then putting them away.  I guess I could take the .22/410 along and pot some tree rats while I'm out there.  It even looks like it might be too cold and rainy to go to the range.  Shoot a couple of big ones for me and a Merry Christmas to all from Sue and I.  :D

Now Ranger J , I know you are winding down a great Christmas... I am packed and ready to roll in about 4 hours...this time tomorrow night, I will be sleepin in South Texas , dreaming of that first morning hunt...wish me luck, and Merry Christmas.....

My son also made his first bow shot/harvest, with his Diamond Bowtech ...got a javelina one morning..
