Hi all. I've got a 12 ga. TDC vent rib barrel and I just sent my receiver into NEF to have a 20 ga. TDC vent rib barrel fitted. I want to replace the existing front beads with fiber optic. There are lots of different sights out there. Does anyone have any experience with the fiber optic replacements? What manufacturer and model do you like, and why? Which are the brightest? I know that some clamp to the rib and some thread into the existing stud hole. The magnetic ones won't work because the rib is aluminum. If you have a threaded one, what are the stud thread dimensions?
Thanks in advance for your opinions and advice. I'm hoping that the fiber optics help these old eyes see a little better. Maybe I should just get thicker glasses?
