Muslim Woman's Black Veil 'Incompatible' With French Immigration

A Moroccan woman was denied citizenship in France because her head-to-toe Islamic veil, which shows only her eyes, was "incompatible" with French gender equality, Reuters reported.

According to Reuters, the woman has three children with her French husband and has been living in the country for the last eight years. The 32-year-old woman wears a black burqa that shows only her eyes, and lives in "total submission," according to French social services.

She was first denied in her application for citizenship in 2005 for reasons of "insufficient assimilation." Her appeal to the Council of State, which has final authority over immigration disputes, was rejected in June.

"She has adopted a radical practice of her religion, incompatible with essential values of the French community, particularly the principle of equality of the sexes," the Council of State ruled, according to Reuters. This is reportedly the first time a Muslim has been denied because of religious practices.

France is the first Western country to deny citizen ship based on religious practices BECAUSE OF EQUAL RIGHTS LAWS.  Maybe it can be done here.

I doubt it considering even the Second  barely survived as intended.  I believe there was a case in Florida in which a woman got her Drivers License with only her eyes visible under the headgear and scarf.

  I recently drove someone to the airport and had to chuckle at PC's abject stupidity !
  Some folks are examined from head to toe for all kinds of "hidden weapons"..even having to remove their shoes !
  Others skate through with full body and facial disguise ! The curious factor is that the ones closely checked looked
  very much like traditional Americans, while those with the full-body-&-facial-disguise were quite obviously from
  the nationality and religion that has spawned aboput 99.9% of the worlds terrorists in this century !
         Yes, terrorists can look like anyone..but in these in-your-face cases prove that when one embarks upon the
  ark of "political correctness", they are expected to leave their brain & common sense behind..
