Loaddata.com???

I was wondering if anyone here is a member of the website www.loaddata.com?  They seem to have an extensive amount of load data and it seems like a neat idea.  I like the fact that you have so many loads to choose from and you can print the particular page to create your own load book.  My concern is their disclaimer about the loads not being independently verified.

loads from there are exactly like getting load data from someone here.........USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. i would suggest double checking any data against one or more reloading handbooks if possible. if not i would definitely start at the low end of any suggested recipe.

Any load data you get from other than a reloading manual, needs to be checked against the powder manufacturer's web site to verify that it is within the parameters of their published loads.

The data is a compilation of the reloading articles published in Hand Loader and Rifle Magazines it's just made available online for convenience. Regardless of your data source double check it with another even if that source is a reloading manual. Mistakes creep in everywhere.

Thanks for the replies gents.  Given their disclaimer and the fact that it is on the web would require double-checking and verification of loads with standardized loading manuals.  I like the fact that it is not published by a bullet or powder manufacturer.  I thought this might be a good resource.  So far I have the latest Speer manual and a variety of caliber specific manuals.  I also have the two books published specifically for the Contender.  Any other resources you guys recommend?

What I consider essential are: The Lyman manual, the manual from whatever bullet manufacturers you plan to use and the manual from whatever powder makers you will be using. That to me is the minimum required.

The Lee manual and those caliber (actually cartridge) specific manuals are really nothing but compilations from powder maker's free manuals and to a limited extent perhaps from bullet maker manuals. They seem to have a ton of misprints and typo errors in them generally.

I had read about the Lyman manual.  I guess I'll buy that too.  As far as the caliber specific manuals and the Contender manuals look like someone went to work with a Xerox machine and put the manuals together.  I'm sure I'll end up compiling a good size library whent it's all done.

Yeah... that is really all the caliber specifics are.. they just took that page for that caliber out of the major reloading books and compiled them....

Any information from anywhere should be double checked against a manual - or several manuals.
Undocumented data on the web is just as reliable as information from that guy at the range - you remember - the one with the non-marring hammer to extract his cases from the Super BlackHawk. His loads are all safe - he told me so.

I am a member of that site and use it regularly for new loads. As anything else, if a load doesn't sound right and doesn't correlate to something else, don't use it

These 2 mags are, IMNSHO, the best on the market.  And I have just renewed my subscription to LoadData.com.  I use it often in conjunction with Hodgdon site and several manuals.  But it's a lot of fun to type in caliber/bullet/powder combinations whenever the mood strikes you and see if and what other people have come up with.

It's my understanding that all the "Pet Loads" are also included on the site.
