have model 70, 270 cal ,about 20" barrel, maybe featherlite,brown laminate with deep checkering - ser#G2058277
anyone have info per manufacture date/model/and original retail ?- called winchester, waiting for reply

It should be a Model 70 Win-Tuff Featherweight rifle.

There were two separate issues, probably using the same batch of receivers & brown lamo stocks - one in 1988-90 and the re-issue in 1992-3.

The last MSRP was $572.
