.356 AE Any good for deer hunting?

I was lucky enough to find one a while back,  but haven't shot anything with it yet.  What kind of range & terminal effect on deer can I expect?  Do you like yours?

Does anyone remember the scene from "Quigley Down Under" showing the aborigines lined up on the skyline as far as you could see?   That needs to be US!

The .356 is quite a thumper out to 200 yds. or so.  I have a buddy that has taken a number of Elk with his using 220 grn. bullets.

The .356 is the most effective caliber Winchester ever put in a Model 94 - for nearly anything. That's including the .444 BB94 & .450M Timber Carbine's, I had.

My .356 BB94 is accurate, to boot - always a plus.
