35 Whelan at WalMart in Handi- Rifle

Not too long ago people were begging for 35 Whelans from NEF and here
they are.  I am going tomorrow and ordering two.  One for me and one
for nephew.

Don't waste your time, the 35 Whelen was discontinued a year ago.

What the heck, it's worth a shot, they may have a couple left!!! I say go for it, you never know,
the worst that can happen is they say is they don't have any left, it's free to try....<><....

Don't count on it, neither of Walmart's suppliers even list the 35 Whelen.  Walmart still lists the Huntsman, but we know they don't make it any more either.

While I agree with the logic that " if the distributors dont show it it is likely that WalMart cannot
get it", I would  like to point out that the example of the Huntsman listing (while it may still
exist on the website) the Huntsman IS NOT listed in Walmarts catalog of available offerings
while the 35 Whelan is. 

To see what I mean, go through the regular walmart website to arrive at the Hunting Rifles
section and the Huntsman is NOT listed under any categories.  I believe the referenced link
was saved from an older walmart website catalog.  This may not be significant in any
way but you would think the worlds largest retailer would do a pretty good job of keeping
their website up to date.
see this link and look for the Huntsman.... or do a search on "Huntsman"
