A good weekend
« on: January 20, 2008, 11:10:26 AM »
Live fire near El Centro, Ca.  Unfortunately I was only able to go to one day rather than the entire event.... was well worth it though.  10 pound Parrot.  Click on the picture and it should play.

Great video!  Do you have any info on what kind of projectile, range of target and how were they doing?

Thanks,

Projectile was a 10 pound zinc bolt in front of a full pound of powder (don't know if it was Cannon or Fg though)  Targets were at 600, 500 and 300 yards.  3 shots, 3 direct hits... can't do much better than that.  I was the powder monkey on this crew so that I would have time (and position) to do amateur video.

Fantastic!    We were very impressed with two full size Parrotts at the Casper Wyoming shoot.  Those pre-engraved zinc bolts fly straight  and true.  Thanks for sharing your excellent video!!
