scope mounting opinios
« on: January 17, 2008, 03:44:05 AM »
I am about to put a scope on my CVA muzzleloader.I cant decide if i want to go with see through rings or mount the scope as low as possible. The rifle is extremely accurate with iron sights  & it really seems like I'm doing my rifle an injustice if i don't use them "if that makes sense lol",but i also am concerned with the accuracy of the scope with see through rings.Looking for opinions/suggestions.

Accuracy will be the same if everything is working correctly...I refuse to use a see thru ring for anything..

1+ for standard rings. Hunt with your scope on the lowest setting and you will have no need for the see through.
