I have noticed on Savage's website the model 93 22WMR is either a model 93F or 93G. I have a Savage model 93M in 22 mag. It was manufactured in the Savage rimfire plant in Lakefield, Ontario, Canada. I have not seen a 93M before. Are there any differences in the guns?
Thanks.

armycar01 :  Nothing in the blue book of values on a 03M either and I personally cant recall ever seeing one, you might send Savage a letter requesting some info on it, and until then I would put it away you might have one worth something. :D    JIM

The newest price guide I have is a 2000 so this model must be newer than that???? Savage did designate the M on their older rifles as the Mag version so maybe they did on some of the 93 guns??? Just a idea I would contact Savage as jhm suggested and see what they say.Post back when you get a answer as I am sure others will be interested as well. Jim
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Thanks, I will try to get in touch with Savage. From the wear on the checkering I would say it is older than being manufactured in 2000, but I will check. My brother bought it from a pawn shop for $100, then he sold it to me for the same and upgrade to 223. I would say it was well worth that hundred bucks as good as it shoots.

I think I know what the deal is.  Savage bought out some gun company in the 90's in Ontario Canada ( I did my english report on the history of Savage Arms.). On my 93M it says Lakefield. Does anyone know about a Lakefield 93M? It was my mistake when I said Savage. It is Lakefield by Savage. I don't know if the factory in Canada is still open, but it is like the deal with Stevens. You won't find a Savage model 411 uplander, but rather a Stevens by Savage model 411 uplander.
I'd appreciate any info>
Sorry 'bout the mixup!!!!
