coyote stands

I was just wondering how long do you call at each stand and how many do you make in a day?

I have coyote hunted for about a year or so. When you call in the East side of the country you should be sitting for about 30 minutes to an 1 hour, and you should have 10 to 15 minutes of silence before calling then you call every 3 to 5 minutes. Now this is how it is in the east it could be completely different in the west. The best time to hunt them is morning or evening, and at night. If I were I would get a coyote hunting DVD from the store and keep reading posts that guys have, I have learn all kinds of info on coyote hunting.     

When you do predator hunting you must sneak to your position and get in quietly as possible. Say your leave at four o'clock or so and it gets dark at say six o'clock, you should have one or maybe two.

usually anywhere from 20 to 40min is about right for me. To call longer does give you the chance for taking an older, wary Coyote.
A lot depends on what is happening...If you get the birds to chattering this will greatly increase your chances because they can be heard from a long way off.
By the time the Crows start showing up it is really time to look sharp as they can be just ahead of the Coyotes.

Ditto on what buckshooter said about sneaking to your position.
