Tax Rebate! Why Not Buy A Gun?
« on: January 26, 2008, 10:55:07 AM »
It looks like Washington, in an effort to spike the economy, and pacify the masses who in general are sick of them, has agreed to a tax rebate in the neighborhood of $600.00 per person, approx. $1,200.00 per married couple. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone getting one to exercise their Second Amendment rights and buy a gun with it. Think of the irony. The Democrats agreed to it, and would love yet another Assault Weapons Ban. What better way to rub it in their face than buy that AR-15 you've been wanting, and let the Dems. help you pay for it. I just bought another AR-15 the other day, but I can use a nice AK-47, and a bunch of Hi-Caps for my AR's. Let's work to try and get this going. What could be better? Invest in America's future, buy a gun! Bill T.

I plan on it.

There's a Kimber Eclipse Pro on it's way to my friendly neighborhood gun shop as I type.

That  is a good idea. I'll use mine to by ammo, camo wear, and some turkey decoys. Hey, use it to pay your  utility bills, and gas for your cars and trucks.

Uncle Sugar? They are going to priint more money, and give it to you, which will make what you already have worth even less. Your so called tax rebate has long since been spent.

I didn't think this rebate is the best idea but since it is a reality I'll take it. One thing we do need to do if we are going to spend it is put it back into OUR system. Not into China's. BUY AMERICAN!!!

Tax rebates are a stupid idea. They are just buying approval with tax dollars we gave them.

All the same. I had already decided to use mine for a new rifle.

it is even worse than that.  they have spent everything they took from us, and are in all likelyhood borrowing from china to give us a "rebate".

even so,  i will cash mine if and when it comes.  a few new guns and/or reloading stuff will be investing in.

That's right.  The Dems in the Senate don't like the bill because it doesn't have enough money in it for the welfare folk.  I think it will still go through - even the Dems don't want to be seen as the bad guy for not approving this.

If and when it arrives I think I'll be using mine on some work by Linebaugh or Clements.  I may just get a safe - they don't make those in China either.

If we do get this little slice of the American $ pie, I wonder how many of the estimated 12+ million folks here in the USA illegally will get yet another chunk? ::)
