It's a nice looking package for sure and mine functioned flawlessly with light target loads which is all it was ever fed while I had it. The gun felt OK to me but the stock dimensions are NOT the same as the standard 1100 and I did not shoot it as well as I shoot standard 1100s. The R3 recoil pad really is a nice touch and does work as it should. But in the end the fact it's still a semi auto and it kicked my empties to the ground resulted in me letting it go.
My back will not allow me to bend to pick up hulls while shooting skeet and the rules at our range require shooters to pick up all hulls that hit the ground. So it was back to my O/Us for me. If you're wanting it as a clays gun I think you'll be happy with it. If you're looking for a hunting gun I'd go with the 1187 personally.
