Mossberg 935
« on: January 27, 2008, 05:39:32 PM »
I'm thinking of buying a Mossberg 935 with a 26" barrel in duck blind camo. It comes with 3 chokes and a sling for $550. I don't know anyone who has one. My hunting buddies use SBE II's , Rem 870's and Mossberg 835's. I'm not spending the money on a Benelli, my limit is about $800. Are they good guns? Or is their a better gun for the money? Oh I almost forgot I want a semi with a 3 1/2 in chamber for geese.

2 of my younguns have the 935s, another one has the 835. I like the 935 for the comfort level. Being an auto and heavy as heck, takes up a lot of recoil for those 3.5s. Ya just don't want to be carrying it any further than the blind. I perfer the 835 because you can still shoot 2.75 shells in it. Recoil isn't ALL THAT BAD, but you will know the guns gone off if you get into extended shoting with the 3.5s. Until a 935 is broken in really well, it won't shoot short shells. Sometimes not at all.
