If the looks of the rifle don't bother you there is nothing physically wrong with them,they look and feel cheap but shoot quite well.
If it aint fair chase its FOUL,and illegal in my state!

I can only mimic what the others said. The bolt isn't smooth when working it back and forth, the stock is fugly but serves its purpose. With that said, the 2 I've shot are very accurate and like all ammo thrown at it. Another interesting point is that the cheapo Bushnell that comes with it tracks well and  goes back to zero. You'd think that because the rifle is already cheap, the scope would be piss poor, that's not the case at all.

It was Rem's bottom of the line rifle aimed at the box a year hunter that wanted to shoot a deer and put it up 'til next year.  Even at that, they had quite a few problems if you can believe what you read in cyberspace.
