CCI Quick Shock ammo

I was reading about the CCI quick shock 22 lr rounds which are supposed to break into 3 segments upon impact.
Does anyone have any comments on the rounds performance?
I suppose the segmented feature would greatly reduce ricochets

Not so sure on the ricochet part, but they are pretty nice rounds for some of the larger small game you might be interested in for 22lr hunting. It is a HYPER velocity round, so I wouldn't recommend shooting a lot of 'em in semi-autos (over 1,600fps).
They truly do separate into piece, leaving a few wound channels.

Also worth noting CCI has announced it's release of the Quick Shock Segmented Bullet in a 40gr load for the 22wmr.

I can compare the explosiveness of the quick shocks to the 17 hmr 17 grain v-max bullets on birds, they are very explosive.

I know I've seen 'em at several of my local shops, including Joes sporting goods. Haven't seen 'em at sportsmans warehouse. I would think cabela's or bass pro would carry 'em.

If not, most online retailers have 'em (midway and such).

I've used em on feral cats a few times. They seem to kill very quickley. Bang flop!
