question on a range

has anybody shot at the consolodated sportsmen of lycoming county in pa  there are high power shoots there and i was thinking about trying my hand at this sport but i dont know anything bout the shoots can anyone help? do you have to be a member?

I've not shot there myself but know they run NRA sanctioned HP, SB and Lever gun matches all season. Al Foust is involved in running at least some of them, If you DAGS for Al, I think you'll get contact info.

I shoot at Consolidated, you don't need to be a member to shoot there. Great place to shoot and very nice people to shoot with. Here's the link to there web sight.

MRbill2, i have never shot shiloute do you have to have an nra clasification book for the high power shoots? can i just show up pay the fee and shoot for fun? im not looking to win or be great i just want to try it out and have fun? can you tell me anything about the shoots that would help? i think im going to try to shoot this weekend.

 sorry i forgot to ask can you shoot ballistic tips?  i like my federal vital shocks, or can i use federal power shocks out of a .308 win?

CSLC Consolidated Sportsmens of Lycoming County Silhouette Matches

CSLC is located North of Montoursville/Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

CSLC holds Silhouette matches in high power, smallbore, and all 3 of the lever action silhouette matches, smallbore, pistol cartridge and cowboy lever.

High power matches usually are once a month from January to September.

Smallbore scope matches are once a month from May through September.

Cowboy lever shoots once a month on Saturday, from April though August following the high power shoot.

Cowboy lever every other Tuesday from May through August.

Smallbore lever and pistol cartridge lever every other Tuesday from May through August.

Various regional and state tournaments in the silhouette game from year to year.

All matches are open to non members and adhere to NRA rules for equipment.

Great place to shoot.
