im shooting the 3" federal premiums in mine. 1 5/16 oz #6 shot. this is coming out of a stock mossberg with 26" barrel and factory full choke. i shot a nice gobbler opening day last year at 30 yards, no flopping or anything. def worth a try!

Thanks!

I found some in #5 shot and patterned my new (to me) Savage 24.  Nice group even at 40 yards.

I think it will work just fine.

My Son uses his Youth Model 20 gauge with #6 hevi shot.  He puts his birds down dead.  the farthest I let his shoot is 30 yards just because of the age.  It patterns well to 40 yards.

Remington 3" 6s magnum turkey loads or 3" winchester 5s turkey loads in my Charles Daily 20 guage auto. This combo has taken alot of birds.
