Deer Hunters

Is there anyway to keep doe in heat scents from freezing?  They don't seem to work very well once they are froze.  Any ideas, I thought someone would have a novel idea.  Thanks Buckfever

OK, so are you thinking that if a Doe in heat pee's and it freezes up on the ground the bucks don't smell it anymore?

Somehow that doesn't sound right to me.

I agree they still smell it if they are close.  If it is in the air as a vapor it travels much further.   Thanks  Buckfever

Sublimation.    It's the transition from a solid to a gas.  It's how snow evaporates, and how your mama's clothes dried in the winter months while hung on the line.  Probably how frozen urine gets into the air.
