I thought I would scout out the other side today.  I went to the Daily Kos website and found a thread that referred to the very mature and well reasoned analysis of the campaign by the head of the National Organization for Women New York chapter.  Even the liberal users of Daily Kos thought this to be on the junior high level.  It just shows how much liberals exaggerate.  http://www.nownys.org/pr_2008/pr_011108.html.  Warning: reading this press release may cause nausea and vomiting.  Brain shrinkage has been reported in followers of this point of view.

To show how pathetic politics has become, I truly hope Mrs. Clinton gets the nomination as the Republidorks have a much better chance of beating her than Obama, and for all his happy talk, he would NOT, I repeat NOT be better than Mrs. Clinton.

This is so sad on so many levels.  This woman is educated, at least she shows that she has been to college.  The level of political discourse is so low, it is no wonder that other countries laugh at our political knowledge.  She manages to offend all sides. Even people who described themselves as feminists were offended by what she wrote.  The slash and burn  mentality is one of the things that anyone with any political memory  wants to keep in the past, along with all the other social and political innovations of the Clinton era.  In my career, I had to deal with male and female rape victims, and this woman manages to trivialize their experience and their courage.  What further surprises me is that no one in her organization has seen any need to pull this outburst off their website, so I guess that the higher echelons of NOW-NY are in agreement with the statement. Several of the feminist writers on Daily Kos talked about the takeover of the movement by the radical anti-male element in the late 70's and how men and heterosexual women left the organization.  It's no wonder that for most people, feminism is now a dirty word.

 Curiously, Hillary seems to have been "given a pass" on her crying ! I can recall just one other presidential candidate who had just one "weepy moment" on the campaign
  trail .
  That was a fellow called Edmund Muskie who, when he did cry a bit..was all washed up in his quest.
       
   Hillary has also been given a pass on some inartful statements, some said "racist" (not true)...but  Tom Delay, Trent Lott and many other men, again being falsely
   accused of "racist" statements were not allowed the same latitude of forgiveness !

    ...And George Romney, Dad of the current candidate..was hounded out of his presidential bid..just by uttering the word "brainwashed".

    Yes Marias;   You can rest assured, women are not treated the same as women...otherwise, Hillary would have been a washout some weeks ago !

    Frankly, I don't believe this moaning has anything to do with gender;
    More likely, the totally disgraceful treatment folks like DeLay, Lott and Romney received was prompted by some totally dishonorable politicians; who were enabled by an
    equally dishonorable media !
