I never found one. That's why I got rid of mine and got an Encore .50 cal. I would stay away from powerbelts for sure, they were all over the place. Standard 209 primers did not work well either. Had my best success with loose 777 powder, vari-flame primer (small rifle) system. I would try the Winchester 777 primers first if I had it to do over. Bullets from Precision Rifle Muzzleloader. www.prbullet.com  I think is the address. Good luck.

sidekick I have a .50 optima. What I have read you might want to try a hornady xtp in .44 pushed by 90-100g of 777 2F. I personally like the 777 209 primer. Seems to keep the 777 crud to a minimum. I see where a lot of guys like the speer gold dot in .44 as well.

Try 80 grains of triple 7 with a 225,275 or 300 grain powerbelt.

I used a 225 grain powerbelt with 80 grains triple 7 and the damage to the deer was simply amazing.

I have a 45 Cal Kodiak and it took me over a year to find a decent load for it.  Finally came up with 300 power belt platinum with 100 gr 777 and a 777 209 primer.  It still doesn't group as good as I'd like for hunting.  It also has a significant amount of "blow-back" out of the breech plug and after 10 shots or so there is a thin layer of carbon on the bottom of my scope.  Anyone else have this issue?  Breech plug is tight and action is closed all the way and it still happens.  I'm going to go ahead and keep this and keep playing around with it.

I went ahead and purchased a T/C Omega 50 cal and the second time to the range I was putting the bullet through the same hole at 50 yards and grouping less than an inch at 100.
