Marlin Factory Refinish job on 336SC
« on: September 23, 2007, 11:56:08 AM »
I have an R prefix 336SC in 30-30 that had seen better days. Most of the blue was wore off and there was a dime size area of pitting just forward of the loading gate, most of the finish was wore off the wood and the bulls eye was long gone. I sent the rifle back to Marlin a few weeks ago to get it refinished, man am I glad I did. I now have a brand spankin new 336 SC.  ;D

I have a Glenfield Model 30 that could use a refinish job.
Do you have a phone number or a website that I could contact to find out where to send mine??
I would appreciate it.

Thanks alot

Did Marlin go through your rifle mechanically, also? Check for wear on the inside of things?

I would assume so. It was butter smooth when I sent in and it came back butter smooth. All i can say is that it is a top notch job! Looks like a brand new rifle.
