Navy Must Comply With No-Sonar Rule

LOS ANGELES -- Environmental groups seeking to protect whales from the potentially harmful effects of sonar cheered a legal victory against the Navy and the Bush administration.

U.S. District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper ruled Monday that the Navy is not exempt from complying with both the National Environmental Policy Act and a court injunction that created a 12 nautical-mile no-sonar zone off Southern California. 

Well, when the whales are dying from potential nuclear radiation from dirty bombs, chemically polluted from bio chemical bombs leaching in the water source from terrorists, and their human friends non existent to help because their focus will now be on survival of their owns lives and families; will they be able to assist us in rebuilding because our Navy did not have the resources available to detect, deter or prevent a hostile submarine attack?  And we wonder why Americans are not respected around the world.  We cannot even assist whales properly without endangering our own existence.

Yep, I'd like to see this decision appealed to a higher court. Wonder who appointed this federal judge??

  Yup ! Wonder who appointed her ? Sheesh ! I've seen some people trying to appear "sophisticated" by hyphenating their surname(s)...but hoky-smokes,
   this one went hippie overboard..hyphenating her first names !

    Don't hope for much right off, if it goes into appeal..it will probably go to the 9th "circus' court !

What else would you expect from a Federal Judge in California?  If the left-coast liberals get their way, the country will be wide open to everything anti-American.  If somebody ever invades us, it will be in California, and the judges will rule that the Navy cannot defend us since some whales and seals could be adversely affected, and some little-known species could become extinct!  Who pays their salaries anyway, the U.S. citizens, or the UN?

I work construction , DuPont Has a letter from R. Regan that allows them to make and use R-12 in the manufacture of Kevlar . They had this letter ( or copy ) on display at the site !
It would seem that it is no longer valid ? Now i can't imagine how many more things like this exist to protect us .
It has been said we will destroy ourselves from with in , seems we try hard to accomplish it !
