I would like to buy this gun. My question is can you use rifle barrels on this?

Thanks

Yes, absolutely.  You'll need another forend or have to shim the shotgun forend and change screws.  GOOD SHOOTIN', Walt

I bought a katadhin muzzle loader encore, plus a 12 ga turkey barrel and camo forend, plus a custom barrel in 17 HeeBee with it's own forend. They all work just fine - need to get a deer caliber next.

You can put any barrel on the Encore frame. There might be legal trouble with the pistol. I suggest you buying a frame registered as a pistol frame and you can put any barrel on it. This is the beauty of the Encore it is a ML, pistol(with pistol frame), rifle or shotgun with one frame.

Yeah wait until you become addicted to it. Get the pistol frame and you will be best off and won't need any other frames.

Yes....soon child services will show up at your door asking you why you threw your child out in the back yard? When you respond that you turned his\her bedroom into your T\C barrel storage "facility" with summer\winter climate control and humidity control....well....you had just better hope that the person you are talking to also owns a T\C.  ;D Hey....your kid will be fine....mine was....I think??? ??? ::)

Oh....don't be "suckered" into that "just buy one frame" and that's all you will ever need line either. Yeah....I did that. Sure...that's what my buddy told me too. Now I have 2 Contender frame's and one Encore (ProHunter) frame. And would I buy another frame? Yes....if my wife wouldn't beat me to near death with it....I probably would. But...she is going on a trip with her girl friends soon.... ;D ;D ;D...I have some cash...stashed.. ;D ;D...a near death experience for me could be in my future....but worth it!!!

:D :D I have 2 Encore frames a pistol frame and a rifle frame. Then I have one Contender. I might fireproof that side of the house to and reinforce it with some steel. Just to make sure that during hurricane season they are ok.
