I was given over 1,000 rounds of 9mm brass my SIL picked up from the range where he shoots with the sherriff's dept. I was going to clean it and decap it to sell used. I noticed there is plain 9mm and 9mm +P. Is this stamped on the base of the brass or how can I tell the difference with all that brass?

Doubtful you will find any difference in the brass. It would be in the way that brass was loaded as new.

I saw in the catalogue from Midway that they sell 9mm brass and 9mm +P brass. I didn't think there was any difference in the brass either, except in the way it was loaded, but there must be for them to list it seperate.

If you wanted your brass headstamped correctly for the way you load your 9mm you can buy brass so marked, otherwise the 9mm brass I have and the 9mm +p brass I have weigh the same. I would summize they are then the same. I don't load any +p ammo so it a mute point for me.

When I get it cleaned and deprimed I will just sell it as 9mm Luger. I will sell approximately 500 rounds of it. I was going to check to see what the lowest new sells for, then sell it for less, since it is once fired.
