POI is right with iron sights
« on: February 13, 2008, 06:30:39 PM »
My new Mosin shoots right 4-5 inches at 100.

So do I move the front sight to right?
Rear is not adjustable for windage.

Is this consistent with all brands of ammo?  If so, drift or move the front sight to the right to bring your point of impact to the center.  The front sight gets moved in the opposite direction you want the bullet to go.  HTH.  Mikey.

I learned it this way:

Franklin

Sister

Frontsight different, rear same.

Mikey, that is a good point.  I will try the Winchester ammo too.  So far all that I have shot is some Barnaul.  I assumed that the other would go to the left too.

FDRS, good one, Mr. TNyoteboy, thanks
