Would like to take the action out of the stock of my Tikka Hunter. Is there any precautions I have to watch out for, Springs flying, recoil lug parts etc etc???

Both my Tikkas have synthetic stocks, but the actions are the same. Nothing to fall off when you remove the stock. Be careful putting the action back in, it's possible to do that wrong.

My wood stock had a removable recoil absorbing plate which could be misplaced easily.
Old English, could you elaborate on putting the action in wrong? I don't want to do that, and could use your guidance.
