Boy am I ever happy
« on: February 07, 2008, 07:21:54 PM »
that I found this place. I've been searching the net for well over a month now looking for info on the Optima Elite. Bass Pro opened here in Baton Rouge last night and the guys behind the gun counter seemed to be clueless on the Optima Elite. Kept trying to sell me an Optima Pro. I plan to buy one first thing next week but its good to see so many others that have had success with the gun. I'll post pictures of my rifle when I get it. Ya'll take care. ;D

Both Academy's in New Orleans stock the OE. Their prices are pretty good . It would probably be worth the trip.

Glad you found us. Its always nice to have a new member. Welcome to the site.

Thanks for the info Tunaman. I went to Academy in Baton Rouge this evening and they had the OE Compact but only in 7mm-08. :-\ I'll have to check the New Orleans stores this week.

The last time that I was at the Clearview store, they had a 50 ml/ 270win and a 50ml/ 243 combo in stock. Jimmy at professional sportsshop in New Orleans will order anything that you want. His prices are always fair. Good luck and welcome to the site.
