Large loop levers
« on: March 01, 2008, 12:41:48 PM »
I have an 1895G Marlin which I would like to install a large loop lever. After looking at WWG, Bockman's and DRC, I'm not sure which one to buy. Anyone out there have any experience with function, fit and looks on these levers? If you were going to buy one, which one would it be?
Thanks for your help,
"Grizz"

Old Grizz,
I never really liked the big loops on the lever guns. They just didn't feel like they were very comfortable let alone functional. I just wanted something that would let my hand fit in the loop with a glove on and also be comfortable without one. So I found the DRC loop at Brownells and it works great. The one I installed on mine is the Model #6. I also included a picture of my 1895 GS with my other Marlins so you could see the difference between them.

Thanks,
Jim
Ohhh, so many guns and so little time to buy them.  :)

I don't care for the way they look, but I've heard the DRC is the best.
