Acusport: Listen to this!

Make a Bisley Acusport in .327 Mag so it could shoot from 32 ACP to 32 Long, 32 H&R mag and the new .327 Mag.  Make this gun in the single six Ruger frame and I will buy two to start.  If you make it, buyers will come.

Last year I made up and presented a petition to Acusport's big wigs regarding a .32 cal addition to their stainless Bisley series. It had over 100 signatures.  I've been unable to get any responces from anyone from there recently.  I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

Blkhwk73,

Please, keep up the effort.  I think it should happen.  I would like to see a smaller frame than the 357 mag (sort of like the single six or in between those two).  With the prices on ammo and reloading components, I believe that will make a nice small game shooter and plinking.  I would not go with the 32 H&R caliber only.  It would have to be the .327 Mag as the main caliber with a 5.5" BBL and I would not necessarily care if they are made with extra cylinder in 32 ACP.  Please, count me in.

With the SP 101 coming out in .327 Federal magnum  and the discontinuance of the Blackhawk in .30 carbine it makes me wonder if we will see a single action in .327 magnum.  Maybe Ruger and Accusport  are  holding off and we'll see an Accusport in .32-20 and .327 magnum.  Maybe just wishful thinking.

Why wait is what I say.  I found myself a beat up SS Blackhawk in 357 mag dirt cheap.  I'm sending it off to Alan Harton for conversion to the .327 mag.  While it is a large gun for that caliber it will have some unique features that Alan thought were pretty cool ideas.  We'll see how she turns out.

I am all about the small framed Bisley. I would like two and maybe even a third if they do one in .327. I would think that it would come out like this-

I am having Alan Harton build me a 5 shot 327 Federal on the Single Six bisley platform. He ordered the barrel blank from Douglas yesterday, so it wont be long now!

you don't need an extra cylinder to shoot 32 acp as its a semi rimmed cartridge and will work just fine in the 32 mag cylinder

Hi,

Been trying to get info on the Acusport catalog listing.  How do I find out info on the different models that they have that are special to them.

Thank you,

Paul
