I've had Pyrodex that was several years old, and it shot fine! Even had some that was lumpy. Broke up the lumps and made some smoke. ;D

Had my Renegade at the range a couple months ago for the first time in 12 years. One of those "know-it-all" range lizards came over to tell me "you've really got to watch that Pyrodex, it ages quick, don't let it get over a year old". I didn't bother to tell him that the canister I was punching holes in the 100 yard bulls eye with was 12 years old :D. By the way, the new canister I bought shoots the same point of impact as the old stuff.

thanks for the feedback. I really want to stock up before the price goes crazy like the rest of our ammo. I plan to keep it unopened and in ammo cans.
