Stock for 336
« on: February 22, 2008, 07:22:35 PM »
I have a friend that needs a new stock for his 336. Where can we find one? Now that Remington took Marlin over,we are lost as to where to obtain one.

I have never heard that Marlin closed their customer service so that is where I would start.  I think Gunstocks, Inc. offers a buttstock for Marlins, so that may be another place to look.

Thank you fellow riflemen. Sounds good. I sent that info to my friend's wife who is the computer savvy person in that house hold. I'm sure he can have luck finding a stock through one of them. Thanks again.

Nothing has changed at Marlin.  I doubt that it will.

The best way to go is to return the gun to Marlin for a new stock.  It will fit correctly, and look right.

Muskie Hunter, you can contact me at   bigben1956@verizon.net   and I'll try to take some pictures of the stock and send to your friend? Be patient please, my work load is picking up?
