My hunting partner inherited a nice Savage 110 from his grandfather. It has what looks like a French Walnut stock with Rose wood forend and pistol grip caps. The forend is beaver-tailed and the finish on both is great. It's chambered in 7 mag and I've never seen a Savage that looks this good. Ser# 491XX When was it built and is this a rare variant?
