And I thought this state of Massachusetts was the only one with IDIOTS in its legislature. ;D

My God! That is incredible.  Being from Wisconsin and having to deal with Illinois crap all the time it is quite often shocking.  I have  a cousin who has a brother-in-law (Lives in Chicago) who sat in jail for a weekend after he called the police for a neighborhood disturbance.  As the police were in his house getting information from him, they notice his gun cabinet.  Which had a shotgun and a hunting rifle.  They immediately arrested him for unregistered weapons and took him to jail.  Felony charges.  I never found out if he actually got convicted of a felony.
