Esoxlucius:
Thanks for the very prompt reply. I had done a Google on the "possibles bag" but couldn't get any hits that looked any good.
The links from you are  just what I'm looking for.

Thanks, Matt

I have a friend who rendezvous this weekend in Chippewa Falls.  http://www.chippewafallsmainst.org/HistoricPreservationCelebration.htm He's a vendor at about 20 a year.  I just asked him.  I'll thank him for you.

B44MAG...... Yep, I'm not laughing because I use one of my wifes old purses for a possible bag. It's neat because it looks like its made of cow hide and has a western/cowboy look to it.  All I did was lenghten the strap with a piece of deer skin I had. Best
possibles bag I ever had and its a lot better than those new fangled cordura bags.  ;D

I modified an old nylon dog leash to make a good strap for my bag.  Just took a couple rivets and it fits across my body quite well.
