Where can i get a wood thumbhole stock for my Handi ?

Last week I found a deal on a Handi with 243, 280, and 50cal barrels with a Simmons scope for $300 so I jumped on the deal but to come up with the funds I had to sell the Handi 243 I already had. I received the new (to me) rifle only to find out it has a youth stock on it.

So now I need a stock so it might as well be a thumbhole which I prefer. Where can they be purchased? How much can I expect to pay?

H&R sells the Boyd's, 122.50 shipped for a camo or cinnamon laminated, they also sell the Choate Varmint stock, see FAQs and Help sticky. GSI sells unfinished replacement stocks.

They aren't available from Boyd's, some have been sold on Ebay by BV Pawn, unless he lists some more there, the only way to get them is from H&R, call em and ask for them, toll free at (866)776-9292. Thanks Tim I just ordered a camo set. Which is all they had, now to find a picture of a camo stock to see what I bought.

Gunstock Inc has pretty good picture of laminates their camo is close to H&R's. Kurt

Thanks For the pictures guys. Is there any problems with these stocks when bought threw H&R ? I found a post while looking for pictures that some were having problems or was that only the ones the pawn shop on ebay was selling?

He was selling factory defects or seconds if you want to call em that, several members got burned by less that quality stocks, I bought one from him that came with a Pachmyer Decelerator pad and was excellent, just like the one that came on my factory 243 Ultra. Those that H&R sell are excellent, they come on 3 Ultra Varmints models  and 12/20ga Ultra Slug Hunter slug guns, plus the new SS 45-70 Ultra, take a look at H&R's website or 2008 catalog.
