Nice idea Lloyd. Are we talking about a 32 S&W, or 32 magnum?

I would make it to the .327 Mag; that way it will be ready for all the 32's spectrum (unless of course, the frame/cylinder does not support the extra pressure)

the 327 is way to long for a  bearcat, the 32 mag takes some shoehorning. The little bearcat would never hold up long to 327s anyway. I wouldnt even feed it a steady diet of full power 32 mags. Its mostly going to get shot with 32 s&w longs. A guy can reload them for alot less then what 22 mag ammo cost and they will take care of any small game. Maybe a cylinder full of mags for walking the trails.

Alan sent pictures of the cylinder today and said it was chambered  for 32 mag and he felt confident that it would handle any 32mag load

Very cool Lloyd!  I'm getting ready to ship two revolvers to Mr. Harton.  One will be a standard Blackhawk 45 Colt reworked to tighter tolerances and probably re-barreled.  The second is a .357 Blackhawk that will be re-chambered for the .327 Mag.  That really got Alan's attention.  Anyway, that Bearcat should be an awesome little gun when he's done with it.

Hey, LLoyd,

What barrel you going to put on it.  .308?  .312?  Twist rate?

I have several 32 mags and have shot the RCBS 165 Silhouette bullet with some great accuracy.  I size them to .310 for my Ruger and .309 for my Contender.  Contender is much more accurate, but the little Single Six with 5.5" barrel does ok.  I have not tried them in my Blackhawk.  Haven't even fired a round thru it.  It is still unfired, in the box, in the safe.

Well Lloyd... Look on the bright side. You will have a semi famous gun that was made just for you. Kind of cool if you ask me.

ive got a couple other ones that have been used in articles my 41 special single six and one of taffins books has one of my 500s in it. Its sure not a compliment to me. I didnt do anything but pay for them. Its the builder that should be proud.  Kind of got a chuckle out of the taffin thing. He put a picture of it in the book but gave clements the credit for building it when John Linebaugh actually built it. It wasnt noticed till the book was printed and was to late to change. As humble as John is, it didnt bother him.
