I'm a first time owner of a FA model 83 454 casull and would like to know if a 45 LC cylinder from another model 83 can be used without any dangers or difficulties. Thanks

I would have to say that would be a big NO. They are line bored meaning each one is kinda precision made to work with that gun. Unless you get an OK from the staff at FA I'd not even think about it. This is one I hope Bob sees and responds to.

naframe, each cylinder is fit, linebored and timed to an individual gun which basically means they aren't interchangeable between guns.
