SOME FFL'S SAY THEY HAVE TO SHIP HANDGUNS NEXT DAY AIR BY LAW AND SOME SAY BY LAW  THEY CAN SHIP NEXT OR SECOND DAY AIR... WHAT IS THE REAL DEAL HERE..I HATE GETTING RIPPED OFF BY FFL'S AND CARRIERS  THANKS

That is UPS, they have a problem with their employees STEALING so you and I have to pay! FFL's can leaglly ship through the mail to other FFL's or use other shippers ( Fed Ex, Roadway ect. )  UPS has made it very clear they want to be out of the firearm shipping business. So I say screw 'em and use someone else.

It is exactly correct that this is UPS. The FFL I use prefers to use USPS and
did so before UPS's surcharge on the law-abiding because of THEIR inability to police themselves.

This is outrageous. If your firearm isn't safe with them, why should anything of value be?
