Barrel contour question!

I am looking for a small caliber rifle for my wife because she says that my Ultra Varmint 243 is too heavy for her.  I was looking at the synthetic version in a 223 with the 22" barrel.  Is this barrel a standard contour or is it a bull barrel?  What is the actual weight comparison between this one and my Ultra Varmint?

The synthetic handi that I am looking at is Model # SB2-S23

If you want light,  consider the Superlight for her, she'll love it, unless you're colony shooting, but for a carry rifle, it's very nice, I have the 243, it weighs 6½lbs scoped with a 4x Weaver shotgun scope.
