LBT 180 WFN-GC
« on: February 21, 2008, 04:21:30 PM »
Veral,

Is this mould is still available?  If so, what are the dimensions of a bullet cast from this mould?

Please check out the following link to identify bullet.

http://www.lasc.us/Fryxell357Max.htm

I would really like to try this bullet in my T/C Contender 357 Maximum.

Thanks,

Yes that bullet is available and is standard, but the designation is FN not WFN.

I don't have the overall length to hand right now and don't want to run the 120 yards to the shop to get it for you, but diameter is whatever the custormer asks for, with the alloy he specifies, and nose length is a critical dimension for some guns can be whatever is ask for.  For use in a contender a crimp groove is not needed, so I would recommend that you order it with a .35 nose length so the bullet can be used in anything of 35 caliber including revolvers, the leverguns for 38 cal bullets, 35 Rem and the other 35 rifle calibers.
